We start our day with a relaxing float through the Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archeological Reserve viewing eyeless cave fish, stalactites, ancient Maya paintings on the cave ceilings, and other human artifacts left behind thousands of years ago.

When we arrive at the Archeological Reserve, we will gear up and make the 45 minute trek to arrive at the entrance of the cave. Once in the water, the current will carry us along as we learn about the geography and history of the caves, along with the history of the Mayan people who once used the caves for ceremonial purposes. Upon arriving back at the entrance where we started, we will enjoy a delicious homemade local lunch.

Following lunch, fly through the dense jungle on cables as high as 190 feet on a series of 8 platforms, spotting rich flora, insects, and, if you're lucky, spider monkeys along the way! The course takes around 30 minutes.

Things to bring: Hiking shoes or sandals, towel, change of clothes & shoes, camera, & bug spray
